Welcome back for the Spring Quarter! Summer is almost here, but we still have lots of stuff planned for the Spring!
WHAT'S NEW
SWERB - Sophomore [and Senior] Women Engineers Recognition Banquet
It's that time of the year again -- our annual end of the year banquet! SWERB honors sophomore engineers for sticking it through their major. 50% of sophomores and freshmen will drop out of
engineering and we would like to congratulate these sophomores. Additionaly, we'd like to recognize the seniors for completing their engineering career, no easy feat in itself.
The event is *FREE* for all engineering students and their friends! And you don't have to be a female to attend or be honored. The evening will consist of a free Hawaiian themed
dinner with inspirational keynote speakers, awesome raffle prizes, presentation of the sophomores and seniors, and a photo booth where you can take pictures the evening of and have them printed
during the dinner. Here is the info:

Location: EBU3B 1202 (The CSE Building)
Dress Attire: Semi-Formal
Please RSVP with ucsdswe.rsvp@gmail.com along with your name, major, and year. Please be sure to indicate if you are a sophomore or a senior
so we can honor you accordingling. You'll get a free gift and a pretty boutonniere! Invite your friends too! You don't have to be a formal member of SWE to be honors; as long as you
went through the trials and tribulations of UCSD Engineering, we'd like to honor you anyway! RSVPs must be recieved by Monday, May 26th. If you have any questions, feel free to

UCSD SWE Scholarships
Every year, UCSD SWE presents some scholarships for its members (Formal or not formal, doesn't matter) to reward the members who have shown much dedication and spirit towards SWE. Applications
are due Thursday, May 22nd at 11:59 PM and will consist of questions regarding your involvement with SWE. We will be awarding 6 total scholarships: 4 for $100 each and 2 for $300 each. Below
is the application for you to download. We will be announcing scholarship winners at SWERB. Good luck everyone!
